Maple and Fruit Oatmeal
1/2 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. water
Dash of salt
1 tsp milk ( I like the creaminess it adds, and it helps to cool it down for Alex)
1/3 c. chopped apple
1 TBS brown sugar
3 tsp maple syrup
1/4 c. Craisins
Cinnamon, optional
Combine oats, water and salt in a microwave safe dish. Cook, covered, on high for 2-3 minutes. Stir in milk and let sit for about 2 minutes. Add brown sugar and maple syrup and stir well. Add apple and Craisins. Garnish w/ cinnamon, if desired.

We love oatmeal in our home, actually just made it for my twins this morning. I love new variations and I'll have to give this a try, thanks!
I just love Oatmeal and sometimes have it every day in the winter. This is a great recipe that I would enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday. Hope you have a great week end and come back soon!
