Crazy for Salsa Me Krazy {A Review and Giveaway}

I love finding new foodie friends, and I really love finding new Hoosier foodie friends. People in my own home state who are either blogging about food like me, opening a new restaurant, or making their own products to share with the public. And the latter is the case when I learned of my new friend Brenda, who is making her yummy salsa from a recipe passed down to her from her mother, and now selling it to the public!

Salsa Me Krazy was born out of the idea of sharing. Brenda's mom would jar her salsa made from the abundance of her garden and share with family and friends. And they couldn't get enough! Keeping in that same tradition, the salsa is still made in small batches, with no preservatives and is low in sodium. It has an unique flavor that is both sweet and savory, and screams "I'm homemade."

Brenda was so kind to share 2 jars of her salsa with me. She explained the Medium is her most popular, and is slightly less sweet, and I knew both Mr. and Little Everyday would love that, however, I am a wimp and asked for a jar of Mild for me to try. I'm not even going to lie, we were eating it with spoons from the jar after the first bite! It is that good! My husband's first comment was that he "loved that he could taste the garlic". And I will fully admit the medium was even something my whimpy palate could handle! It is so fresh, and packed full of flavor you can't stop eating it! Not to mention the minute you take the lid off the jar you can tell this is salsa that is home made with fresh, wholesome ingredients, with love.

It is the perfect "dipper" for some tortilla chips, or use it in your favorite Mexican recipe. It compliments so many flavors so well, it truly is so versatile. Plus, I love the texture too. Many jarred salsas have a very watery texture, and this definitely does not!
