I get more bang for my buck, and it goes further. I also love boneless thighs too :)Kristahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08145449941678035679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4011515998611724976.post-28607495076543961192013-02-05T09:22:32.610-05:002013-02-05T09:22:32.610-05:00I got boneless skinless on sale for $1.69 per poun...I got boneless skinless on sale for $1.69 per pound and I bought 15 pounds because I was so excited. I would have bought more but I didn't have any more cash on me. I cut our chicken into tender sized so that everyone always gets multiple tenders and can take what they want so it doesn't matter how many breasts of chicken are in a package. It makes the chicken go farther in our house and helps to marinate faster if you are doing that :) This sounds like a fun recipe though so I might have to save some breasts next time :)NOVA Frugal Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10298382094101689880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4011515998611724976.post-11398856501623074522013-02-05T08:30:21.973-05:002013-02-05T08:30:21.973-05:00The Fajita seasoning is more of a powder consisten...The Fajita seasoning is more of a powder consistency. And it does have a different flavor. But the original recipe actually called for the taco seasoning, so either would be great!Kristahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08145449941678035679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4011515998611724976.post-28196626856888198782013-02-05T08:22:37.214-05:002013-02-05T08:22:37.214-05:00This sounds really good!! I have 3 packaged chicken breasts waiting in my fridge to be put in my crock pot today also! lol Another thing I just tried with my chicken is to put them in the crockpot with a jar of salsa (your choice of 'heat' and a packet of Taco seasoning! Let it simmer all day or on high for a few hours if your in a hurry then shred & mix up. Wow! This is good with your tortillas and loaded up or even on rice with cheese! And EASY!!! That's what I LOVE!! :) I've also been on a pepper kick here lately too! yummmmm I am thinking I'm gonna have to grow a pepper patch this year! haha Have a great day!! :) Nana Neeciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16243798956968064375noreply@blogger.com
